Our pharmacists are certified and highly trained to prepare any non-sterile compounds and are licensed PharmDs(Doctor of Pharmacy) with masters of science in quality assurance , quality control and regulatory affairs.

The preparation, mixing, assembling, altering, packaging, and labeling of a drug, drug-delivery device, or device in accordance with a licensed practitioner’s prescription, medication order, or initiative based on the practitioner/patient/pharmacist relationship in the course of professional practice.

We follow all the rules and regulations according to USP 〈795〉 Pharmaceutical Compounding—Non-sterile Preparations.

  • Pain management: Compounding provides alternate methods of delivery by combining the ingredients of traditional oral pain medications in lozenges, topical creams, gel, ointment and more.
  • Pet Medicines: We love pets. That is why Texan Pharmacy provide veterinary compounding services to pet owners. We will work with your veterinarian to compound medications into a customized dosage strength, flavor or form for your pet. We offer sugar free formulations, capsules, flavored antibiotics, medicated biscuits, oral suspensions etc...we will compound a topical cream that can be rubbed onto your pet’s skin and minimizing the risk of side effects.
  • Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT): Our pharmacists will compound the hormones like estrogen, progesterone in a customized dosage, strength and formulations of what you and doctor wants in order to provide relief from menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, mood swings, depression, insomnia and urinary frequency. Compounding of the medications will allow you to get a more personalized medication which provides flexibility in the choice of dosage form, strength and choice of drug.
  • Pediatric: We care about your kids as much as you do. We want our kids to have a proper dose of medicine the way they want. We will help you out with preparing different dosage forms like suspensions, Solutions, Rapid Dissolve Tablets, Lollipops, Gummy Shapes, Lozenges etc. Our pharmacists will work together with your pediatrician to make a compounding medicine.
  • Dermatology: Texan compounding pharmacy are always with you when it comes to treat your skin. Are you tired of using harsh OTC products? Ask our Doctor of Pharmacy about different options available for different skin conditions like;

  • Hospice/ Palliative Care: We are experienced in Customizing Pain Medicine Strengths the way our care system wants for patients. Some of the commercial available medicines are not well strong enough. We will help our care center patients to get what dosage form and strength they need.

    We know the importance of the physician/patient/pharmacist relationship in determining the most accurate compounding prescription to meet the individual needs. Our pharmacist will provide a consultation before administering of each of the compounding medicines.
